Hi there! Your blog has been immensely helpful in my journey to Italian dual citizenship--thank you! However, I've come up against a stumbling block. Both my grandparents are deceased, so I need a court order to obtain their birth certificates. Did you ever face this? Do you know how to go about (or around!) this? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith,
ReplyDeleteI did not have to do that I'm afraid. Are the certificates in Italy? If so, you need to write them a letter and attach a copy of your identity document.
